[ He doesn't text back, he's too close. Using wind to help him run faster, something he had been practicing at but hadn't used until now. He hadn't been close enough to a portal for that.

He comes through the door barely slower than a run. ]

[ Nate's in the living room, seated on the sofa with his elbows on his knees, and his phone in his hands. He looks up when Caleb comes in and sets the phone down.

He's calm, compared to a couple of hours back when he'd been panicking in Nick's arms. The after effects of that attack are hanging on by a thread. He's using this time when he's just too tired to feel very much, to tell his close contacts what's going on. ]

I'm here.

I'm sorry, I should've thought to portal you. Fuck, I'm sorry for all of this.
