and Nate wants a Yule log and I want Christmas lights on the house and ofc we have to get a tree! so just trying to make sure we all have a nice Christmas this year :)

Honestly, it's with you guys. There's nothing off the table.

I love this idea, by the way. Us having our Christmas. Thank you for thinking about it.

We should find a way to physically or magically protect any tree we have though. Given the menagerie.

I would love to have candles in the windows. I know it's a Catholic tradition in some places, but my family say it as a sign to others of our kind as well.

Also wonder if I could figure out a recipe for Joe Frogger cookies. They were a local specialty around the holidays. I made them a couple of times.

do you know how hard it is to keep a cat out of a tree?? now imagine that cat has wings..

candles in windows would be beautiful!! i didn't know it was Catholic either so who cares. it's ours now :)

i just like the idea of setting up our own traditions. our own family now.

and there has to be a way to find that recipe. i demand cookies now!

I can't even imagine but I'm hoping between us we can figure something out. I hope.

What traditions do you think we should have? Decorating a certain way? A fancy dinner? Matching pjs? I'm sure Nate would love that.

but!! I'm making the three of us watch the duplicity porn version of the Grinch and we can drink spiked eggnog while we do and see how many drinks it takes to get nate to glamour himself up as the grinch. that's a new tradition.

I'm glad you like the idea!! that's what I want most. I want Christmas to be all ours. screw our families. we're family now. so it should belong to us.
